Contact Ock Health

Ock Health offers a health-surveillance procedure to assess an employee’s fitness to work as a food handler. Assessments should  be carried out before employment and on an annual basis. Additional reviews may be necessary after certain types of illness, and following visits to certain countries.

These health assessments will identify those employees who may have health and / or hygiene problems needing further advice or treatment. Those individuals who may have specific learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia, will also be identified. Adjustments can be in made accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).

  • We offer the food handlers assessment on site, so that there is minimal disruption to the company.
  • All that is required is a room with a desk and chair and power outlet.
  • The company will be sent a written report containing results, advice and recommendations for further referral to a specialist if necessary. The employee’s rights to medical confidentiality will be respected.
  • A food handlers’ Fitness for Work Certificate will be issued
